The Origins of Maxton Design
The Maxton story
In short: Maxton Design is a Polish maker of body kits and splitters based in Wojnicz, in business since 2006. It started with fibreglass bumpers and spoilers, the breakthrough came with ABS plastic splitters, and the latest chapter is carbon fibre parts. Everything is made in Poland and sold through dealers worldwide.
01 Our story – from laminates to ABS splitters
The world of car tuning has rules of its own. Many car owners aren’t happy with the way their car looks when it leaves the factory, and they look for ways to give it an individual character. Often it doesn’t take major changes to a car’s structure to make it special. A few details are enough: new wheels, a slight drop in ride height and… Maxton Design add-ons.

02 The beginnings: fibreglass bumpers and spoilers
We have been making aerodynamic parts since 2006. In the early days, these were mainly bumpers and spoilers made of fibreglass, known as laminates. We designed each bumper mould so that its shape was interesting and stood out from the factory part. We laid fibreglass mats into the mould and bonded them with a special resin.
Parts made this way took a lot of work, patience and commitment before they could replace factory bumpers. Priming, painting, fitting and installing a laminate took many days and was often quite expensive. That’s why, over time, we began developing more versatile products that don’t demand a big investment of time and money from our customers.
Our team grew along with our ideas. In the beginning, Maxton Design was just a handful of people, each responsible for many tasks. The same person could take orders from customers and then pack and ship the finished parcels.

03 The breakthrough: ABS plastic splitters
A major breakthrough came with the move from laminates to producing ABS splitters. This material is very different from fibreglass: it is lighter, easier to work with and allows for much more precise designs. You can read about how our ABS parts are made in the article “Thermoforming: how a flat sheet becomes a splitter”.
Our first splitters were very simple, without fine details or bolder shapes. The reason was simple: first we had to develop a method for producing and finishing them from scratch, and then refine it.
04 Modern machinery
At the same time, we were investing in equipment. Thermoforming machines, CNC milling machines and a 3D laser scanner are just part of our facilities. Without them, expanding our range would have been, if not impossible, then certainly very difficult and time-consuming.
05 The latest chapter – carbon
The last few years of our business have been devoted to bringing in the technology to produce carbon fibre parts. This led to the creation of our Carbon Division – a production department dedicated to carbon.
Our team has spent hundreds of hours on training, learning new technologies and working hands-on with carbon. New machines arrived – autoclaves, ovens, freezers and a plotter. We invested in a professional paint shop, as well as in specialised rooms with a separate air circulation and filtration system, where our specialists craft top-quality carbon parts by hand.

06 Build quality – technology and hand finishing
Build quality is the benchmark of our production. We know that anyone who chooses to tune their car expects parts that are well made, durable and precisely fitted. That’s why we combine modern technology with the handwork of skilled staff.
CNC machining, thermoforming and other specialised equipment allow us to meet our customers’ expectations and keep expanding our range. But the final quality comes down to our people. They do the final finishing by hand and make sure that only flawless products reach our customers.
07 Made in Poland, sold worldwide
Today we are one of the largest companies of our kind on the market. We operate globally through an extensive dealer network, with our biggest partners in the United Kingdom, Germany, France and the USA. You’ll find our distributors in every European country, as well as in Asia, Australia, Africa and other parts of the world.
We are proud that Polish products are known all over the world. The entire splitter production process takes place at our headquarters in Wojnicz near Tarnów. This is where shipments set off to customers around the globe.
We are also developing our website to make shopping simpler and more convenient. We are also planning to build a large warehouse that will cut order waiting times as much as possible. With a range of more than 8,000 products, that’s no easy task – but big challenges are our speciality.
